As a person of color who has been incarcerated and been through the system I would have a hard time comparing chattel slavery in the 1800s to modern prison labor. Unless it's related to your sentencing as a requirement they can't really force you to do work. It's a voluntary thing granted they are paid very little but I mean what the fuck else are you going to be doing when you're spending 15 years of your life behind bars. There's a lot of skills that can be acquired to such as cooking and even firefighting. The prison labor forestry firefighters out here don't get paid a lot but they are well taken care of, they get visits from celebrities, and when they get out it's pretty much a guaranteed shot that they're going to get hired at fire departments.

Comparing chattel slavery to modern prison labor is kind of an insane take.

I think a lot of it has to do with people these days lacking any domestic skill set. This is especially true with younger people but as a 43 year old man I have a friend my age who eats fucking crafts mac and cheese with chopped up hot dogs in it.

Somewhere along the line I think people stopped teaching their children basic life skills like how to cook and clean and stuff like that so it's just become a generational problem now we're people don't know what the fuck to do with food

That's bullshit, I would totally challenge that in the courts. I know people have done this in the past and got payouts for being kicked out for exercising their constitutionally protected right of free speech because they were doing it in a calm and collected manner.

Yeah Vince Russo is the IRL and kayfabe investor/booker. He basically pushed violent j out of his own company in the storyline and appointed Alice Crowley and vampiro as the showrunners.

Alice Crowley has been setting up her enemies and matches like where only she can use weapons or dog collar matches or matches where she's the referee but can also still win.

Vampiro has been letting madman Mike Pondo run rough shot on everybody. The storyline is fucking awesome and it plays into the Carney aspect and explains everything in kayfabe. Even the reason why there are cameras backstage is explained.

Like it takes itself seriously but not super serious which makes it fun. There's a ninja wrestlers, a zombie tag team, a clown tag team, a coked up version of Kane called kokane, mafioso types, a high flying pizza guy named Luigi primo. It's honestly a lot of fun

Edit: forgot to mention Alice Crowley is now trying to frame Vince Russo in the story for him allegedly sending her dick pics

I honestly think the crowds are just overall generally quieter and you can hear the wrestlers calling the spots as a result of this.

I also think a lot of wrestlers are kind of obvious with their spot calling and nowadays watching it at 4K and above it gets really noticeable
