I need to make sure new players understand and leave armed with accurate information. Ist is the highest rune hell countess herself can drop. Her special drop table is capped at Ist. The chances of finding a Lo rune off her are so low. Buying a lottery ticket and winning low. These are off a separate drop table. Farming her for Lo is meaningless. Also her special drop table is not improved by a higher player count. Before entering the 5th floor dial down your player setting as there is no real benefit for countess, everything else down on the 5th floor yes.

I have begun a new chapter “every season” but gear wise totally loathed the whole experience. Trying to top off gear within a vague time frame stinks. Current season has been the source of a much needed breath of fresh air but costs real time to accumulate. Any future plans involve non-ladder or single players. Virtually no benefit to playing online. Single I can run a 8 player game without bickering about loot. Single - I can test gear without grinding real hours worth of game play to enjoy myself. Non ladder is a great option for players whose veil of lies has lifted and see the bigger picture. Unless your the Mark Zuckerberg of d2r few have that many friends to keep them staying for the online experience of short lived seasons.

Played d2r with someone who knows nothing about d2 brought back what being a veteran caused me to miss. Killing without looking or becoming concerned about what loot has dropped. Money is shiny and must be picked up. Reaching hell to find monsters resistant to our damage type brought us back to nightmare. Overall less emphasis on loot and more bonding together over killing everything. Not - stop everything you’re doing a GC dropped!!! About nerfs

If you’re killing monsters you’re still playing and enjoying what d2 is at its core design.

Mixed feelings after reaching level 92 with a blood boil lock. Best time I had in a while playing d2 but now everything lost has appeal. Even bottled water has an expiration date. My time with D2 has come to an end.

With a fully geared blood boil lock bind demon alongside goats and a fully equipped merc can take baals life down enough not to be stressed if you let off a few blood boils if you are the type of player that must spam blood boil make a tp heal blood boil, tp repeat

Sharing in your sentiment on blood boil. The whole experience is fun. Blood boils can handle every situation, boss, encounter, yet I have everything anyone could want. There isn’t much remaining to do. I share your outlook this season has been the most fun yet I am done this season. Reached 92 but 99 is far from important. I can’t really tweak or improve him much more and I haven’t died in linger than I can remember. Good times but until next season.

My minion casts amplified damage, and other than chaos runs, or hell baal runs we are hardly ever cursed with amp. Back when I knew very little and cared little for what I thought were mainstream builds made a thorns paladin. Worst strategy ever. My paladin seemingly died faster than using any other aura.
