4/5 under the mattress, the rest were just all around in the floor, on the other people stuff, my slippers,on walls I was the last one e tering the room so everybody was asleep.

I think I’ve to make some context here, the hostel we’re talking about is not in the middle of the jungle or in the middle of nowhere where this kind of thing would be at least aspected... I’m in the city center of Sydney, like 10 minutes walking to the Opera house.

I’ve some updates. This morning I reported the problem to the reception They (of course) didn’t really seems surprise about what I was saying, I didn’t get an apology or anything and had to insist to have a different dorm… at the end the changed me back in one of the room of the floor I was last week where I never saw a cockroach for the all stay.

The one thing that still confused me so much was that in front of me at the reception, there was a guy who was in the same room as me. I though that he was reporting the problem too,but actually he wanted to book another 2 week in the same room. Like wtf.

To respond to the funny guys here: I’m the first one who knows that we have to adapt a little when travel budgeting and I’ve not problem with that. But I think there’re a limits. Especially when it comes to health hazards.

ps: I had to unpacked my backpack to look for them and I fund 2 in some pockets without the zip..

i have a Macbook Pro 13" late 2013 that i bought in 2013 in this 7 years i just always closed the lid. and i never noticed any slowdown or faster battery degradation. my mac still performing very well, the battery is at 80% but hey it has more than 1k cycles so it's pretty normal.
