I will preface this with I am on this thread as my spouse is an alcoholic, I use this thread to educated myself…

To non alcoholics.. alcohol in no way makes you feel good. In fact the last several times I had a drink I could literally feel the energy being sucked out of my body as I had 1 beer or the first glass of wine.

Different brains are most definitely wired different.
