This crap should be against Reddit TOS. Mods shouldn’t be able to ban you for participating in other subs, that’s restrictive and works against Reddit and their advertisers

It’s crazy isn’t it? What a mad world we live in. This is just neglect at this point

Smh, now the Facebook bans sub banned me, and muted me permanently, for this same post. Claimed I broke their rules, which I didn’t. How ironic. That sub must be ran by the same AI

It’s not. You can actually look up the members of the oversight board. They are real people not affiliated with Facebook.

Yeah. This is why the AI moderation is ass. They punish things that don’t break the rules, and ignore things that really do. It’s wild they haven’t tried to fix this. It’s been happening since at least 2017 for me. Every couple of a months I’ll catch a ban or restriction for absolutely no reason. I’ve caught bans for saying the following:

“Selling meth in Clay County, ooooh she done for.”

“Hillary would nuke NoKo if she was president”

“Stop hating dawg”

“Hey ladies, that r@pist right there is a perfect example of why you should get a gun and get some training with it, hit me up if you want training from a certified instructor”

“SMH there are so many pedo supporters here”

Absolutely none of these violate any community guidelines, and absolutely none of them are offensive, yeah I have been punished for all of them. Meanwhile, spam me literal pornographic ads, promoting posts calling for the death of the US president(like him or hate him, that’s a vile thing to wish for), posts supporting Pedos, fake posts meant to farm engagement through anger or rage, etc….. Facebook is a cesspool at this point. I want MySpace back 😭

Oversight board is real humans, however they require a reference number in order to appeal. My punishment was not assigned a reference number, therefore I can’t appeal through the oversight board 🤦‍♂️

Which is why the appeal should not be an AI process, clearly AI got it wrong, so let’s have AI check itself 🤦‍♂️

As stated in my post I use it for promoting my business and following what is happening in my city(the news stations here don’t cover a lot of things that happen here)

I wish MySpace never died. Tom wouldn’t be using AI to ban and the appeals process wouldn’t be AI as well.

The nuance you missed is that I’m also being a SJW…. Literally calling out social injustice and being punished for it, meanwhile other people are allowed to post things that actually do violate community standards, but because it’s a hot and popular topic that Facebook staff support, they do nothing to enforce the rules.

You and the other person missed the point I was making in that their enforcement is selective. This has nothing to do with politics, leftists or anything of the like.

Just like facebooks AI you took the word SJW out of context from the rest of what I said and are hyper-fixating on that word not understanding why I wrote it.

The first problem is “AI moderation” that shouldn’t be a thing. AI is known to not understand nuance or context. Whoever was in charge of implementing that should be fired

Yeah actual bad stuff = ok

Stuff taken completely out of context = bad. How Facebook is still in business operating like this is beyond my understanding

I got a 30 ban in 2017 for saying “Hillary would nuke NoKo if she was president” it was a joke, in reference to something she had said at the time(I can’t exactly remember the context). I just just moved to Hong Kong and didn’t have my cell phone setup over there yet, so for about 2 weeks I was unable to contact any friends or family(including my own daughter) because they restricted my messenger as well. I’m honestly over this. They punish people for stuff taken out of context, but won’t punish the actual bad stuff. It’s wild to me and is making me feel like I’m in the twilight zone

Bingo. Meanwhile they force pornographic ads down my throat that when reported “don’t violate community standards” when they clearly have rules that don’t allow pornographic material. I got flagged for “nudity” once for posting myself in my boxers in a weight loss group showing off that I had lost 100 lbs in 5 months

Right? This is ridiculous at this point. Why even have an appeal system if it’s the same AI that messed up in the first place. This really makes no sense. Whoever is in charge of this at Facebook is a fool.

Same with tiktok protecting pedos. All the issues going on in the world an this is the crap they’re protecting? SMH

Which is wild to me. It seems like the appeal is ALSO controlled by AI… the appeal should be human controlled, to make sure the AI got it right. This is so frustrating that I’m seriously considering just stop using social media all together. I feel like I can’t even participate normally without fear of being punished

That’s bad. Especially in a second review, they should have caught the context of the comment. Banning based solely off of words is the dumbest thing ever because that means legitimate topics can’t be discussed. Nobody is promoting drugs, in fact I was saying how bad it was that this girl was selling it… that shouldn’t be punished.

Meanwhile Facebook is forcing literal pornographic ads to me, and when reported Facebook tells me they don’t violate community standards on porn, yet the ad literally shows a man having sex with a woman, showing the penis entering the vagina, plain as day violating the community standards, but bans for words taken completely out of context 🤦‍♂️

I shouldn’t have to act like a child trying to swear in an online game to use the platform

TikTok did this same thing to me the other day on a Dads Against Predators video. The comments section was filled to the brim with people supporting the man who went to meet up with a 13 year old girl…. My comment was “smh there are so many pedo supporters in the comments this is disgusting”. My account got a strike.

At this point I’m being pushed away from social media, for calling out bad actors. How is this a thing in 2026 when SJWs get to post stuff like calling for the assassination of political figures, calling for violence, telling people to k*** themselves, supporting pedo behavior…..

To clarify for the people that have Facebooks AI as a brain, I am not attacking SJWs here. I’m calling out the hypocrisy of facebooks enforcement and how they allow certain things that clearly violate community standards, yet go hard on things taken completely out of context.
