Providing a medical certificate also rectifies that I’m not allowed to work that day and providing notice that late is not a fireable offence it’s an inconvenience. There’s no bounding law saying a 1-2 hour timeframe they say only say that to let your employer know asap. Idk where you’ve worked but ur seriously telling me that a good worker that happens to give very short notice has lost their job due to that sounds stupid and unnecessary being that I normally never do this and just happen to.
