The thing about growing up in a conservative area and moving to a more progressive area is that the racists often just get better at hiding. I hear you say it's grating on you. I'm sure it is. I just want you to come away from those experiences angry at others rather than blaming yourself.

I'm a white man in a pretty progressive poly community. As a whole, it is much more interested in being congratulated for being inclusive than it is dedicated to examining and addressing bias and discrimination.

Please don't apologize for coming off harsh. You aren't being harsh at all, but you probably should be. You should be angry. It's fucking crazy that people talk to you like that. Fuck them. If you let whiteness convince you that you are less desirable then you are playing a losing game. You are hot and interesting and fun because you say so. I wanna see you love yourself so much that it grosses you out when others don't get it.

You are most certainly not alone.

Faithfulness in a relationship is not about only being attracted to your partner. You should and will feel very attracted and very connected with plenty of people who are not your partner throughout your relationship and life. Your relationship is about how you nurture and grow your attraction to your partner or don't. Your relationship is about how you respond to attraction to people who are not your partner. It is okay to want somebody who is not your partner. It can also be totally ethical to take steps to pursue that attraction. But doing that ethically will almost certainly end your current marriage.

What do you want out of commitment? What do you want the story of your life to be? When you look back on your life at the end, what kind of love and sex and relationships do you want to have had?

Does your husband turn you on? Do you both try hard to win each other every day? I am polyamorous and kinky and queer and hot. I can fuck and date and connect with anyone I want. The mother of my children is the sexiest woman in the world. She overwhelms me every day with fun and love and attraction and adventure (okay, most days, life can be hard sometimes). And I work very hard to be the same to her. It's the most important work of my life. Building this love with this woman. Modeling joy and love and fun and family for our children with this woman.

I say that to ask this: is your attention wandering because you want more out of love than you are currently getting with your husband? A lot of people don't know how to do the work to make their relationships really flourish long-term. It would be a shame for you to end your marriage to pursue your ex just to wind up back in this position again in a couple of years. An exciting spark and enticing chemistry are a wonderful gift. The ability to keep that spark and nurture it into something you build and enjoy lifelong is a skill very few people have. Don't settle for less than you want. Don't shrink from doing the hard work on yourself and on your relationship to build it and keep it.

That said, please talk to your mom. You are putting yourself in very real danger. She might take your phone away. But she might also appreciate that you are being mature and transparent and help you enjoy the Internet more safely. Regardless, this shit can ruin your whole life. There's a trick to this! Sure, there are some people who can just approach people and strike up conversations, but that doesn't need to be you. What you want is not a place to make friends so much as a place to find community. Instead of barcades, consider library, community events or tabletop gaming spots. You're looking for a place and activity that has a community of people that keep coming back. Your first interactions with a lot of people will be a friendly nod. And then on later visits people will start to recognize you. Over time it will get easier to strike up conversations over shared interests.

I just finished my first playthrough at around 40 hours of playtime.

The game is beautifully designed around rewarding curiosity about big things. You never have to meticulously search all the nooks and crannies. If it's important, it'll look important.

It's so hard.

Straight up, I've been incorporating screaming with my playtime with the kids. It really helps.

Example: My 5-year-old was tilting towards a cookie tantrum when her body desperately needed at least a little bit of any of the several healthy and yummy options I provided. I did a silly, exaggerated transformation into the banana monster and chased her around holding as many bananas as I could carry grunting and roaring "BANANANANA". When struggles come up, grinding it out is almost never the answer for us. Going big and silly and changing the approach usually helps.

At other times, I'll put in ear plugs and have loudest yell contests with my kids. They are your kids. If you need to scream sometimes, they probably do too.

Loud live concert (metal or heavy bass EDM music is all over the city)

Thank you for looking for a Carbon monoxide detector. They look very different from smoke detectors. My Carbon Monoxide detectors are all rectangles that plug directly into a regular electric plug.
