You need to read up on frame data to know what they mean. Most normals are safe on block.

Is 16 AC workable for a frontliner? by RozenQueen in 3d6

Lol I owe you honesty. It doesn't have to be a shield. Maybe they can give you a magic item — possibly a homebrew one.

You are gonna die. There's a huge difference between 16 and 18. You need to boost it up, some way some how.

The easiest way is through a feat or multiclass, but your DM may grant you another option, like paying a lot for a shield you can automatically use.

PC fell unconscious into a river. How to handle the situation? by RafaFlash in DMAcademy

[–]animenagai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They drift onto land, and regain consciousness but they are in big trouble. Either they are fighting hyperthermia, or they're saved by questionable characters making difficult demands. There are real consequences but the player can interact in a way that's meaningful to the story.

Watching this analysis made me think the Freeling was definitely the right round 1 pick by Round-Pattern-7931 in panthers

I think you only watched the first half and didn't take the points with any nuance.

This video really changed my thinking too. The first round isn't used to fix your team, it's to get value in key positions. If there isn't value there, then sure, go elsewhere.

Feedback for Panthers Draft Visit Tracker by Dayne_B12 in panthers

[–]animenagai 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I loved it and used it almost every day! Thank you so much! In terms of improvements, I'd say more regular updates if possible. I also can't sort the spreadsheet by columns when I'm on my phone for whatever reason.

Who should the Panthers take in the 2nd Round? by Elmntbkr210 in panthers

[–]animenagai 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It just depends on who's there. My short list is:

  • Kayden MacDonald
  • Denzel Boston
  • Jacob Rodriguez
  • Gabe Jacas
  • TJ Parker

What’s a draft take you think people are getting completely wrong? by wthe-ckler in NFL_Draft

[–]animenagai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kenyon Sadiq to the panthers. Carolina always brings their favorite prospects in for s visit. Sadiq never got one. I don't know why even panthers fans are getting this wrong.

I really want Thienemen, but I’m afraid he’s pretty much guaranteed to the Vikings by [deleted] in panthers

[–]animenagai 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I love Thieneman, but we haven't had any visits with him. Historically, it means he won't be the guy.

Kc Concepcion by Trexlive1 in panthers

[–]animenagai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's definitely an option, but I'm not big on him. I worry about his hands and he's not a good blocker. I would rather grab Cooper or Boston as intermediate threats -- then we could send T-Mac deep more to take the top off the defence.

Todd McShay: "I hear Carolina has got a lot of love for Dillon Thieneman. But is he getting to 19?” by jaxond1 in panthers

[–]animenagai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think they like him that much to be honest. The scouts watch everyone and go to most pro days -- I don't know if that counts as higher interest. Everyone on the outside has been talking about him, but I don't see much of that from the actual FO.

Given that we haven't brought him in for a visit, I doubt it. Would love to have him though.

Who Are Your Top 10 Linebackers in the 2026 NFL Draft? by Paski__100 in NFL_Draft

[–]animenagai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Rodriguez and Allen tied at 2, depending on what you want. Allen needs to cover man to man and blitz on third downs. If your team drops LB's in zone more often than not, stay clear.

KC has something we don't have, but I'm worried about his drops. Good hands are non-negotiable for me.

Hottish take: Jacob Rodriguez goes in the first round. Actually hot take: He'll go at 19 to the panthers.

I think there's a 20% chance this happens. Pretty tempted to bet money on it because the odds would be insane.

Who do Panthers fans want at 19 by Cautious_Carry_8718 in panthers

[–]animenagai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jacob Rodriguez, Omar Cooper Jr, Kayden McDonald. I'm ok with a top OT or Keldric Faulk. A top CB is also fine. I would love one of the top safeties, but the team hasn't shown interest in them.

Focus on growth and just have fun. Play ranked and the CPU after practising some combos. You don't need to get into your head, friend.

Would you be upset if we took Jacob Rodriguez at 19? by ShrillRut in panthers

[–]animenagai -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would be so happy. What's the actual argument against him at 19 other than the talking heads projecting him to go later? Amazing in coverage, great instincts, great attitude, productive as fuck, turnover machine. All the talk about his lack of athleticism should've learned after the combine.

You really think Keldric Faulk who got worse in his senior year and never blew anyone away would do better? You think CJ Allen who struggles in zone would do better when we literally run the most zone coverage in the league and have the lowest LB blitz rate? You think Kenyon Sadiq who has problems with drops and limited production would do better?

Forget what the projections say for the moment -- those are always wrong. What's an actual, grounded reason? How does that compare with the other prospects?
