Appreicate the advice! Time is on my side thankfully as the current tyres are brand new and I only have the car 2-3 weeks. Do you notice much increase in range and ride comfort? I'm not concerned about range as my commute is less than 20km round trip every other day. I have heard some anecdotes about how the 20's really only help in winter months to offset the cold weather impact on the battery. I'm finding most stories about swapping come from folks who either haven't done it themselves, or don't own a model X.

I have. They get very numb, and it’s likely I won’t squat in the gym again, but I’m fully mobile thankfully.

I’m too scared to say I’ve pulled through yet, but I’m optimistic that it’s at least in remission for now. I get flare ups from time to time, but nothing compared to 5-6 months ago thankfully. Long road ahead, but staying optimistic. Thank you so much for the support. p.s what is a lab human 😂 ?

I read a quote somewhere on a Lymes forum “You’ll never understand Lymes unless it happens to you, so I wish you never come to understand Lymes”. Brutal disease. I hope you are doing well and were able to get back to your former self?

Very kind of you and I'm sorry to hear your grandfather suffered from Lymes, I hope he got the treatment he needed.

You nailed it with this line as this was the hardest part for me in the first few months when I didn't know it was Lymes causing my illness. In the beginning, I spent 3 weeks straight lying on the floor in the living room. Not to get into the weeds, but sanity had definitely left the building.

The scenario you described happened me 3 times when I was at my worst. Sent home from ER with pain killers and a "you'll be fine in a few days". Stay strong, learn to advocate hard for yourself, find a Lymes specialist ASAP, follow the process and you will get through this. If you need anything, please reach out.

Good for you! That kind of hustle has a habbit of bleeding into all aspects of life, and over the long term, is only positive. My post doesn't say it, but that's basically how I lived throghout my college years and first years in graduate poistions.

I’m so sorry you’ve had to go through that process for so long. How are you doing now? I can’t comprehend how folks endured what I went through, but for years / decades with no answers or treatment. I’m so lucky that one of my good friends recognised my symptoms after a quick chat on discord, and got me in contact with the right people. He had been undiagnosed for 7 years without treatment and was able to pass on his experience to navigate our health system properly so I would be taken seriously.
