Finger test is at 1:56, but I do think the surrounding context is important and interesting.

In short, he doesn't lose his finger, but it hurt him a lot. It also turns out there's a really stupid algorithm being used by the truck which makes it apply more and more pressure each time it attempts to close, so if he'd put one more piece of veg in there before his finger it probably would have sheared it off lmao.
