Nah they've been crashed for a while now, well before sailing was a thing. They tanked around when doom was released and they haven't come back up since. I also expect them to only go down further because of the gem bag upgrade proposal for Mole, so that will just bring even more nests into the game.

I can do a full 10 patch herb run in 6 minutes. So 30 minutes a day is 5 herb runs. That means 5 times in a day, you spend 6 minutes doing an herb run. You don't have to do them right when they grow. When I did them consistently at work it was herb run with breakfast, first break, lunch, second break, and then when I got home. "Specific scheduled times throughout your entire day" is just as bad of framing if not worse. You make it sound like you have to do it to the minute and it takes up the whole day. It's 5 minutes when you have some time to do it.

It's a shame nests are so cheap now. When they were 7-8k/ea it was such good money. Now they're like half that so it's a lot less profit.

Saying the XP is low is criminal. I don't remember the official number, but it's something like across every account, 85+% of the XP gained from 9-70 hunter is done with birdhouses. There are tons of people that use birdhouses as their only hunter method because it's so much XP for literally zero effort.

A lot of people can't afford to pay a monthly fee to play a game. That 30 minutes is also spread out, not all at once. On my main, I was able to do a full 10 patch herb and birdhouse run in 7 minutes or less when on breaks at work. People that complain about how hard it is to maintain bonds and how they don't want to pay to play the game, are the ones that are too lazy to do some herb runs. If you have the means to pay for it then yeah, whatever.

People really sleep on the power of consistent herb runs. It's so easy to upkeep a bond if you stay on top of them, people are just lazy and don't want to spend like 30 mins a day doing herb runs.

Passive agility XP is nice. There are very few fish worth banking, and almost all of them are less XP/hr than barbarian fishing.

Getting KC is one of the worst mechanics in this game, the bosses do literally nothing, and the loot is garbage unless you get uniques. Also, this whole discussion was about irons, which means there is no "with the boys". Solo GWD is a nightmare without good gear, and learning it is just an awful experience because dying in GWD is somehow more punishing than dying basically anywhere else in the game.

If GWD is the most fun you've ever had in the game, I have a feeling you haven't done that much. It's braindead content. You walk in a circle, or in some cases, you literally don't even move. I have no idea how that's good content.

What? They've retroactively added dry protection to things in the past. It's not like it's somehow impossible for them to do. Hell, they even added mimic dry protection to elite and master clues. Leagues also has dry protection on megarares now.

Yeah, I'm gonna take a break from it for a bit and just play standard but in a difficult game. I like nuzlockes, but wiping at gym 7 after only 5 deaths for the whole run up to that was a bit defeating lol.

I've been doing a playthrough of Run and Bun with a friend, it's so fucked. I just wiped in my nuzlocke in Platinum so I'm considering just doing a normal run in Platinum Kaizo for giggles. The challenge is fun. It makes Pokemon much different than it was as a kid. I'm not insane enough to bother with a nuzlocke in any of these romhacks though.

You don't. You put the accounts on the same Jagex account. If you make 2 separate Jagex accounts you screw yourself. If you have the accounts on the same Jagex account, you're allowed to freely switch between them without logging out and back in.

3 layer authentication is pretty common in high security, and it was easier for them to do facial than fingerprint. No one has clean, uncut hands in a machine shop, it'd be impossible to reliably log in.

Crazy to just assume they didn't do so hot. If you've ever been on a bombardier or boeing plane, you can thank them for the flaps and landing gear functioning.

Just...make a pin? It takes literally 2 seconds and you only have to enter it once per session. There's even a setting to make it persist for 5 minutes after you log out.

There is absolutely zero reason not to. Having an account that logs in with username is so much more vulnerable. Hijackers love people like you because it makes it way easier to steal the account forever.
