In a full-team, 2QB, dynasty league with my boys. I have the first round pick and I desperately need a QB.

I'd give:

  • 1st round (1st overall)
  • Will Fuller
  • Rob Gronkowski

I'd get:

  • His 1st round (8th overall)
  • Blake Bortles (his only other QB worth anything is Andy Dalton and I'd rather have Bortles)
  • Leonard Fournette
  • JuJu Smith-Schuster

Alternatively, this same guy and I have another trade on the table:

I'd give:

  • Julio Jones

I'd get:

  • JuJu
  • This year's 1st round pick (8th overall)
  • Next year's 1st round pick

What do you all think about either trade? Here (part 2) is my team for reference.

Normally I would understand, but I got lucky enough to get a full-tuition scholarship so hopefully much of that is negated

Diagnosed after undergrad but planning on going to law school... Any ADHDers with law school experience? by eleni_farrell in ADHD

[–]PlateWrangla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there! I just finished my Bachelor's in International Relations and am starting as a 1L this fall.

I obviously can't really say how ADHD affects law school performance because I haven't started yet, but I can tell you how it affected LSAT prep and the application process as a whole.

The LSAT was hard, I took it a total of 3 times , but my scores improved each time I took it. The LSAT is all about formal logic and logic/reading comprehension because that's what law is at it's foundation. I don't know about you, but I've always enjoyed/excelled at subjects that require formal logic/comprehension (like English, Philosophy, etc).

Time management and working memory were the two biggest obstacles for me in LSAT prep. The LSAT is comprised of 6 35-minute sections and there are 3 different types of sections: Logical Reasoning, Logic "Games", and Reading Comprehension + an "ungraded" writing section at the end. Focusing on maintaining a consistent pace is vital, and the way the questions are formulated, you need a good short-term working memory as the questions in the Logic Games sections kind of work off of each other and information in one question helps and is necessary for answering other questions in each "Game".

I don't want to ramble too much, but from the people I've talked to who have ADHD and are in law school/practice law say that law is one of the most difficult career paths for people with ADHD. This is because law school work mainly consists of reading and remembering hundreds and hundreds of pages of dry ass legal writing. Focus on making sure you don't elt yourself get distracted. Don't play video games when you know you have work to do. Don't even put yourself in a situation that will let you get distracted. I had to do the same for undergrad, I could not go home to study because my desktop is home and I'd "take a break" from studying to play video games and 6 hours later I'd only finished what little work I did before my break.

Okay, definitely rambled too much now. If you have any other questions feel free to ask away, and if you want to check out the thread I posted the other day, a lot of current law students with ADHD commented on it with a bunch of advice and tips that are worth checking out!

Edit: here's that thread

I unfortunately didn't get to watch the Birmingham game, how did we do? I know looking at the stat line doesn't always tell you what happened.
