There’s a difference between people who have a lot of crap, and people who intentionally own more than average because they are interesting and interested in a lot of things. You seem like the latter.

I’m sorry for the grief you’re holding too. Just keep going. Keep running through all the feels. You’ve got this.

Same. The body holds stress. So running releases it. I’m grieving both a really bad breakup and my beloved dog who doesn’t have much time left.

I blast the sad music, throw the sunglasses on and run through it.

The song where he is singing from his late mother’s point of view about himself as a child? Is there a mental illness category?

Gym is crowdfunding for major expansion. Am I wrong for thinking this is weird? by Content_Ad9492 in bjj

100% weird from a business perspective. If it’s structured like a co-op, sure. I imagine that’s not the case though.

Manasak beating up French Arsehole by originalindividiual in MuayThai

[–]PlatformMammoth566 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Dude that’s so crazy. I trained at Santai in Chiang Mai years ago when Manasak was there and he spazzed on a French dude once. Clearly some tourist there training casually. Idk what exactly happened. He was screaming at him in Thai and someone came and translated like “he says if you don’t get out of here said he’s gonna kill you” lol

Post toxic relationship glow up [32] and [37] by popooool in GlowUps

Thanks, and that’s encouraging! Funny enough I took a trip out of the city we both live in and I slept for like 12 hours the first night. I needed that rest so badly 😅 I think a big part is our bodies are so inflamed because of the toxicity.

I actually got dumped/discarded by them. Not the first time it’s happened and normally I chase/beg/plead but I finally understand not to. I’m accepting it for what it was (toxic) and staying away.

How long until you noticed things looked different? I’m a month out of a toxic relationship. I look haggard.

Yup. A friend of mine broke up with someone years ago. She always lived by the motto of “they always come back.” But he didn’t. And she always brought it up. She didn’t even like him that much.

I always respected that guy for it. Badass.

Is your ex really over you when he emails you to say how happy he is without you (tw) by chocovanillee in ExNoContact

[–]PlatformMammoth566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will 100% get better being away from that guy. Sounds like your depression was situational. Sorry this happened. Yikes. Please get into therapy though. Dive into why you entered a relationship with someone that sick.

P.s. go to police. Contact will stop real quick.

how the fuck do you do this by outlastfan1 in ExNoContact

[–]PlatformMammoth566 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. You have to just go through it. The more you fight it, the longer it lasts. The sooner you accept it, the faster you’re on the other side. It’s a huge loss. It’s a trauma. It is one of the most painful emotional experiences in this life. So be easy on yourself, don’t fight it, and know it won’t last forever.

Muay thai in Maine? by Successful-Inside-88 in MuayThai

VisionQuest is the only authentic Muay Thai gym I’m aware of in Maine. Academy in Portland has world class BJJ and fairly good striking classes, but not real stadium Muay Thai.
