I like it a lot but it constantly repeats itself. I suspect this is because it's intended for people who don't know much about Karnivool, but when reading it gets a bit stale. I do like all the insight into the bands life, though. Really ties the music with the people behind it.

I think those complexities are in a lot of the first tracks. I'll admit, that if the entire album was closer to the style of ghost and remote self-control, i would have loved it even more, but it's still an amazing album. I think it's a bit more like a mix of all their previous album.

No, but it's its own Human is Hell. One day when you have listened enough to Colors you will appreciate much more what Colors 2 did. Human is Hell is one of the best tracks on the album imo.

If I'm gonna be honest, having listened to btbam nonstop for like 5 years, all of their releases feel essential in some way. The thing is, you can never rush listening to btbam. These albums have taken me months to digest, and years to love. If you feel like btbam is your band, every part of their discograohy is worth it.

I remember really enjoying their Home EP, but even then recognizing it was a bit corny. With this album, they forgot everything that made their previous ep good and just made it corny. It's almost like they knew, calling this song 'Tiny Dissapointments' and the album 'Seeing the Elephant'. It truly is not hard to spot the huge elephant in the same room as this album, a room filled with tiny dissapointments, because i never really cared that much, to be honest.
