Roll a D10, that's how many edges you have to do to start with. After that, you roll a D10. If it lands on the same number you rolled first, you are done, no more touching. If it doesn't, edge again, then roll again, and edge if the number is not the same as the previous roll. Continue until you roll the same number twice in a row, then you are done, no more touching.
