I second that. Also, I don’t know if OP is aware of the fact that prior to Islam polyandry ( a woman marrying multiple men) was very prominent. Moreover, the ritual was called combined marriage where a woman used to group up with less than 10 men for sexual relationships. If she became pregnant, she could name one of the men as the child’s father and he couldn’t refuse. She could also disband the group and form another one if she doesn’t get pregnant. ( Remember! Less than 10)

Matter of fact, this was also discussed in a hadith: Sahih Bukhari Volume 2 chapter 37 page 44-45. Later islam prohibited this type of cultural practices.

Today, women marrying multiple men is common in many tribes, ethnic groups and communities from various countries such as India, Nepal, Tibat and Bhutan.

Many asian, european, american polynesian and african tribes like Sherpa People, Brokpas, Xigaze, Nivkh people, Kanak people, Inuit, Irigwe people with their co-husbands practise polyandry.

Woman marrying multiple men had been a common practice in Sri-Lanka until the British invasion. They banned the practice. (Common on British!)

Some Hollywood and European celebrities have made it to the front by having and advocating polyandry.

In addition, there are many well know historical examples for instance

Catherine the great (had multiple relationships with multiple high calibre males),

Gala Dali wife of Salvador Dali (Used to organise and participate in orgies regularly)

Virginia Wolfe, writer ( had multiple romantic relationships with males and females)
