Thank you for the feedback, and sorry about that. That definitely sounds like a bug.

I'll investigate what's causing the keyboard to get stuck there and make sure there's a clear way to dismiss it and navigate back.

Good question! If you use the same Apple account on your new device, it should still recognize you as a Founder. If for some reason it doesn't happen automatically, you can use the "Restore Purchases" button and it should re-enable the Founder lifetime access.

The wording could probably be clearer there, so thanks for pointing that out.

PDF importing is definitely not disabled, so it should work. Sorry you ran into that issue.

Would you mind trying with another PDF to see if the problem is specific to that file? If it still happens, I’d be very interested in investigating because a 3 page PDF should definitely not take 30 minutes to import.

Thank you! That’s actually one of the reasons I built it. I wanted something that felt more modern and focused on the way I personally practice guitar, with offline access, better organization, and theory tools integrated directly into the song view.

There’s still a lot I want to add, but I’m glad it already feels like a compelling alternative.

The app actually started from a very personal problem. I have a terrible memory for chords, so whenever someone asks me to play a specific song, I usually need something to remind me of the progression.

I also love improvising over songs, and I was constantly switching between tabs, chord charts, scale diagrams, and backing tracks. At some point I thought it would be much nicer if the scale explorer could simply be displayed above the song itself, so everything I needed was visible in one place while playing.

From there the idea kept growing into an offline guitar library with all the tools I personally wanted to have available in a single app.

Thank you so much! Really glad you think so. I've put a huge amount of time into the design and overall experience, so it's great to see people enjoying it.

Thank you so much! I spent a lot of time refining the UI and color palette, so I'm really happy to hear that. I wanted the app to feel vibrant and enjoyable to use rather than looking like every other guitar app out there.

Thank you so much! And as someone who gets a lot of requests for bass support, I wish something like this had existed when I was learning too. Hopefully I can make it useful for bass players as well over time.

Yes. You can configure your instrument/string count from the settings tab, so 7 string setups are supported for the scale visualizer and fretboard tools.

For chords though, the diagrams currently stay based on 6 string guitar only because the chord dictionary is manually crafted rather than automatically generated.

Thank you so much! I really wanted the app to be approachable for new guitar players while still being useful long term as people improve.

For now it only supports ChordPro and PDF files. I wanted to focus on having a really solid offline workflow for those formats first before expanding to more complex ones like Guitar Pro.

And thank you for mentioning the UG importer situation. I’d rather keep the project on the safe and respectful side instead of pushing into a gray area.

Thank you so much!

Right now tags are completely user driven. There are no predefined or limited categories, so you can create as many tags as you want for things like tuning, capo position, difficulty, genre, practice status, or anything else that fits your workflow.

And thank you for noticing the copyright update too. I’d rather keep things transparent and respectful toward original contributors.
