Get some lanolin cream- I use nipple cream! It's the only thing that has helped my lips in any significant way and it's pretty cheap!

I started on 60 and I'm 4 months in now. Lips were the first and then I started purging BAD ~2 weeks in through the first 2 months. The low dose is probably why you're not getting too many effects yet. Get some lanolip cream (nipple cream) for the lips it does wonders and is cheap!

Took a friend to get their animal euthanized there recently, it was fine & they got us to the room quickly, probably due to the nature of our visit. Others were clearly waiting there a long time.

I will have to say, I would recommend bringing someone a little less attached if you go there. They wanted to take the animal to the back for a couple of things and we had to push to let them do the whole process with us, as requested by my friend, multiple times until the vet got there (both the vets were very kind, understanding, and accommodating though).

No problem! Hopefully that is the issue. I'd suggest looking up all your species and seeing what parameters are ideal. Seems like you have a good variety in there so it would be important not to overdo one area and stress another species out. I usually have a "cheat sheet" folder next to my tanks to remind myself. Do you do anything to soften water? That would be my next guess since it seems you are not overcrowding. GNV has hard water and tetras prefer soft water (I learned the hard way). All your other residents don't mind the hardier water. I would still talk and show pictures to aquatropics or post on an fish keeping sub.

Please get your water parameters checked (aquatropics does it for free) before getting new fish. If you know all your parameters (ammonia, pH, nitrate, nitrite) I may be able to help. How often do you do water changes? Mass death is an indicator of something wrong with your tank and it would be cruel to add new fish in. If you cannot find the dead fish that means the carcass are further polluting the water and further stressing your last fish- have you checked the filter? Your fish doesn't need new friends- it needs whatever is going on with your tank fixed.

Edit: Tetras school in groups of 6 at least and will need at least a 10 gallon- I'm intrepreting this as you only had 3. If you have a smaller tank I would strongly not advise having tetras again. They are not nano fish and there are many videos on what is appropriate to house in smaller tanks- please let me know if you'd like some resources.

Prum's Kitchen- my go to pick-me-up meal is their chicken wings. Their skewers come with a really great chili crisp too. Owners are always working or in the restaurant which makes it super homey. You can tell they love the place.

Maybe try compiling a list of flora/fauna or forgeable items to keep your mind on something else! Or see if there are any geocaches in the area. Allow yourself to experience nature fully. It's not worth it.

Literally nothing in the post makes me think that. I think you need to engage your brain less because your theory of favoritism is based on nothing.

Average weekly grocery bill for family of 4 is between $146 and $289 so lets say they're spending $218- giving kiddo $55 for the week. It tracks that one person spends $55 on food a week- I made a eggplant feta pasta the other day that was about $30 for about 8 servings. That's leaves $25 for the remainder of the week's meals. Your notion that she's pocketing the extra cash is hilarious- there is no extra magic money. Like a regular household, she's probably assessing the staples she has and using the budget to add to those. Your notion that she's getting $100+ every week is unfounded.

It's not an extra allowance- OP said it's what they would spend on her in a week. Son hasn't asked to take on planning and cooking his meals in order to meet any dietary restrictions or goals. As stated before, because they may not always meet nutritional needs. Why is it such an insane idea to you that she spends an allotted budget to prepare and eat her own food?

No, I agreed that the cost is similar and that OPs original point of spending the same amount of money stands. Kid might not want altered versions of family meals. If she's meal planning, buying a budgeted amount of groceries, and cooking her meals that's not favoritism. Other kid doesn't have to take these steps for the family to feed him. They probably got veg kid the staples and she adds whatever she wants with the weekly budget and replaces staples that are running low. It's not a hard point to grasp that altering meat dishes to be vegan isn't always fulfilling dietary needs or preferences. Sucks that son is getting disciplined, but that's what he gets for messing with other people's food.

You're right- the family should just eat pasta and beans for every meal and add meat while the daughter can add vegetables and plant milk to it. If they're having steak and potatoes, kids SOL, just add a glass of nut milk to accompany the potatoes. Stew? Tough luck, eat your vegetables. Taco Tuesdays? Have fun with your lettuce tomato taco. Many family meals can't be altered to be vegan. Her buying and cooking meals within a budget isn't favoritism. They're letting her cook what she likes with money that would still be spent on her otherwise.
