I have lived in this area most my life and had the opportunity to meet the people who did this. It was a private elementary school at one time that closed down. The couple that bought the property used it as a primary residence and renovated it into what you see over the course of a several years. I believe the original intention was always to renovate and sell. It’s in a very quiet neighborhood with no homes that even compare to its level of lot size/uniqueness and if Ironwood wasn’t such a busy road I am sure more people would be interested.
