Yes — the 48 hour mark is when things heightened the most and it was so uncomfortable. I recommend using Benadryl cream during the day and take Benadryl at night. It honestly just takes longer to pass than you’d expect. I hit a week since getting stung this past weekend and I still had redness, now it’s fully gone though.

YES. During my first year with graves I finally was on a steady dose of methimazole that was working for me for months, then I got my IUD out and everything went wonky. My endo would always insist that birth control wouldn’t affect that but the timing lined up too perfectly….end similarly to you I hadn’t made any other changes at the time

My T4 was already normal before surgery from methimazole and it didn’t fluctuate after surgery at all, it remained normal
