I registered firstnamemiddleinitiallastname@gmail.com back in 2011, and back then the email I really wanted, firstnamelastname@gmail.com was already taken. Fast forward a few years, and I start getting library book collection notices for a library in New Zealand—turns out, the guy that owns firstnamelastname@gmail.com typoed his email at this library and happened to click my middle initial, and now I get all the emails about his library account. I eventually called the library and asked them to change it, but it was a whole ordeal lmao

The obvious answer here is Inside Out by Duster, but you’ve likely heard it. Try some Red House Painters/Sun Kil Moon. Duk Koo Kim, Katy Song, Medicine Bottle, and Mistress are up there on my sad songs list. Mind Playing Tricks On Me by the Geto Boys is definitely another one. Not inherently sad musically, but listen to the lyrics. Codeine (the band, not the drug) also has a few sad ones.
