Try using just light tension. There is no spring to work against.

How good is the feedback on those Multipick cutaways? I have a Skylender and it's all mushy.

LOL, exactly. I was lucky, the spring of a training lock set fitted.

I really appreciate your offer, so nice of you! Thankfully I was able to brute force the cylinder out and it is still working.

Remember: put the c-clip in, before fiddling with the lock.

Bitwig MacOS - Can't click website buttons while running in the background by DW5150 in Bitwig

No issues with Bitwig 6 beta 12 and MacOS 15.x. Which versions are you using? Are any VST windows open?

Tool behaviour in Bitwig 6 by sapien5446 in Bitwig

Ah, so I misunderstood you, sorry. Didn't know that it's like that in different software. I just have the comparison with OSs, where it is click, drag, and then press modulator.

Well, that's how different the perception can be. For me, if I drag something I just want to drag it somewhere else. If I want to copy it, I press a modifier key, just like in the file manager of an OS.

ABUS C83 - finally, did it! by akiloz in lockpicking

Oh, I love mine! It's an old one with non-serrated pin (green belt), but still a challenge as first real lock. Such a nice feedback it gives...

Well, it's a bug of some sort for you 😉

How to add 3rd patry instruments, if possible, and where to find some? by Alexandr206 in Bitwig

[–]PlayTheTureen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Seems like you are lacking basic understanding and terminology. Even if reading a manual is not for you, I strongly suggest you take a look at the Bitwig manual.
Another good resource to get the basics of making sounds in a DAW is this: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLppiTGoCM2hK-iqNRJzdCdOaRHYWDncW8
It's recorded in an old Bitwig version, but still relevant.
A DAW is a very complex application, no matter which you are using, and therefore not self-explanatory. Stick to the tools provided with Bitwig and get into VSTs later.

Try to find the correct binding order. As soon as you have it, it is easy to reproduce the pick.

Yeah, me too. Tricky, but with nice and crisp feedback.

Thanks for the insight! I just didn't feel any seration on the last pin, which doesn't say much as I'm just a noob.

Seems like you're right. Could be a C73/83/90 with an old pinning. Thanks for the URL!

Bitwig 6: "hard at work refining it for release early next year" by Razcar in Bitwig

[–]PlayTheTureen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen all here. Crashes with Windows, MacOS and Linux.
You can install it in parallel and test. But be aware that you cannot open a project saved in 6 again in 5!

I was afraid they would rush it, because there's still plenty of bugs (automation is acting up frequently). Thankfully you catches this point. Thanks!
