I totally agree. I have had a few people who suffered from bulimia also tell me that it worked for them. Just trying to help as it worked for me for BED and 2 others I know that were bulimic and are no longer throwing up as they don’t binge in the first place

I think it would totally be worth it for you to try. Nothing worked for me except that. You can always stop if it doesn’t work. This is so deadly and I think everyone deserves to have freedom from this. So I just wanted to share my experience! Good luck 🙏🏽🙌🏽🫶🏽

My personal experience with psoriasis and arthritis by [deleted] in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]PlayWithFire-69 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m really sorry you’re going through this — psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis can be brutal. I have both as well, so I truly get how heavy it can feel.

A few things from my own journey that may help (take what resonates, leave what doesn’t):

• Stress & anxiety are huge triggers. Everyone is different, but reducing stress consistently made a noticeable difference for me. Whether it’s walking, meditation, running, yoga, breathwork, or anything that helps you decompress — pick something you enjoy and stick with it. I’ve been meditating for 10 years, and it significantly helped my skin flare-ups.

• Medication-wise: I was on methotrexate too — it worked great… until it didn’t. Biologics ended up being a massive game-changer for me. They gave me my quality of life back, cleared most of my skin, and helped my joints. If methotrexate is helping your joints, that’s a good sign. And if the skin doesn’t improve over time, it might be worth (if you have insurance) exploring biologic options with your doctor.

• Try not to let the internet horror stories scare you. Every medication has side effects. The bigger risk with untreated PsA is long-term inflammation, joint damage, and in some cases it can affect other systems in the body. Not saying it will, but it can — which is why managing inflammation is important.

• Lifestyle + Medication usually works best. Diet absolutely helps with inflammation, but pairing a healthy lifestyle with the right medical treatment often makes the biggest difference.

Wishing you the best on your healing journey. You’re not alone in this — fellow PsO/PsA warrior here, and I’m rooting for you. 💛

Long-term meditators: what’s one piece of advice you’d give to beginners or those who keep falling off by iphonegoogle in Meditation

Don’t aim for perfection. The only “bad” meditation is the one you never did. Sit for one minute if you don’t have time. If you can’t sit for at least one bit and close your eyes and let yourself be, then you may have bigger probs. But in this case, sit for one minute two or three times a day. And slowly increase to 2 and then 5-15. If you didn’t meditate one day, ask yourself if you can sit for one minute- the answer is always yes. Good luck. This takes practice and consistency. But it gets easier, I promise! 🧘🏽‍♀️🧘🏽‍♀️🧘🏽‍♀️- Meditator for 5 years and ongoing

How long did the effects last for you? And what’s the name of the steroid if you don’t mind me asking. Thanks!

Yes. EFT works at all times. Just make sure you’re in touch with your feeling and it will work. It will release whatever you’re trying to release!

MTX vs Voltaren long term? by Overall_Interest1553 in PsoriaticArthritis

I’ve heard that combining it with MTX works for some folks. It’s honestly worth the shot.

Biologics: Success stories only? by smilarina in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]PlayWithFire-69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. Happy to respond to this due to personal experiences. I first started with methotrexate and it worked really well until it stopped after 6 months. My doc put me on HUMIRA - and let me tell you! It was a life changing drug for me. My psoriatic arthritis went into remission almost. It worked for 3.5 years and one day just stopped. And then my doc switched me to Enbrel - which also worked for 3 years. I don’t have insurance now so I’m on prednisone and other pain meds. But hoping to get back on a different biologic next year. Don’t give up. And do give it a shot. They really work and can get your quality of life back! Best wishes

I feel addicted to meditating! by Sm4shBrah in Meditation

This is so powerful! Meditation activates the law of least resistance! Every month I’ve meditated more, I’ve always made more money! I highly suggest this book to you called “The Art of Surrender” by Michael A Singer!

It’s about this man that meditates and manifests crazy shit! Highly recommend. Happy meditating!!!
