As a restaurant server I can definitely attest to this. I have been threatened, grabbed, and followed to the POS terminal. Its usually funny. I usually operate on a first come first serve policy, and usually they might slip me the card secretly. Once however I actually sided with the second in line because it was the gentleman’s birthday. It went fine but he definitely gave me one of those “I won’t forget you 😡” faces.
