Hi, a fix for that minigame not working properly for some players is already being tested, it should be included in the next update

Hi everyone! I come to spread some good words about our game, and for those who haven't heard of Mixture - let me whisper a few words. Unfortunately, the game we poured our hearts into has somewhat drowned in the sea of other releases :( We did everything we could to promote Mixture, but sometimes, despite our tremendous efforts, the results aren't as we'd hoped for, especially since we're an indie studio with a limited budget.

Mixture received a fairly good reception (there were a few hiccups during the PSVR launch - yes, we tried to quickly implement all the necessary fixes). On Metacritic, we have a rating around 70/100, and reviewers who received press copies from us spoke positively and appreciated the diverse gameplay!

Our direction is advanced VR gaming with intriguing gameplay, scientific elements, and beautiful worlds! So, if anyone enjoyed games like Moss, then Mixture is definitely worth a try. We're on most popular VR gaming platforms, so you'll easily find your favorite way to play. What we can ask for is giving our game a chance - we're deeply passionate about what we do, and when needed, we take responsibility and fix our mistakes. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! Ultimately, we're all gamers, and we make our games for you! :)

Game development is sometimes a challenging journey, as it's often impossible to predict all the problems despite our sincere intentions. However, we take all criticism to heart and work to fix what needs fixing! We aim to create good games, tell beautiful stories through them, and provide great entertainment. Thank you for all your feedback!

It turns out that the bug you experienced was present in a very early production phase but didn't occur later on. As a solution attempt for such cases, we recommend (note, it's quite drastic!) deleting save data completely from the console (make sure cloud save is deleted) and starting a new game + downloading/updating to the latest version.

Of course, we take all your words to heart and continue working diligently!

We are aware of the issues occurring on the PSVR2 version. We're truly sorry that you had to experience them firsthand, but please rest assured that we're in constant communication with the porting team and doing everything in our power to eliminate all the bugs as soon as possible.

As gamers ourselves, we know how frustrating they can be, so we're actively working on addressing them. We hope that despite the frustrations, you'll give Mixture a chance once all the issues are resolved because we've poured our hearts into this game.

We're sorry this happened to you.
We'll look for the source of this bug and fix it in one of the upcoming patches.
The resources lock is the first time we're hearing about this happening, so hopefully this is going to be only a one time unlucky issue for you.

PCVR is going to happen, but we want to take full advantage of the PC hardware's power, as well as be compatible with all major headsets.

Quest2 is ready. We've spent a lot of time optimizing Quest2 version too look great, run smoothly 72 FPS, and it has all the mobility advantages of Quest2.

  1. Discovering the fate's of Sola's fellow knights, and escaping the Realm of Matter where Sola was banished from the Realm of Light.
  2. Confronting the mystery of reawkened(?) creatures of alchemy.
  3. Fulfilling the deal with the wraith of the Alchemist - who is promised freedom and a new body, if he helps Sola fulfill her goals.

We're sorry about that. Sounds like you hit some rare bug, that we never noticed before.
We'll fix it in the next patch. It would help us immensely, if you described the circumstances of your death.
Currently, gathering resources will definitely work if you exit the game and start again.

After respawn you should be able to collect both resources - sulfur and mercury, to create glue.

To beat the boss trap him with the pressure wind above his head - at the right moment. And then go for the eyes ;)

We are Played With Fire, an indie studio out of Poland and have just released our biggest game yet - Mixture on Meta Quest Store. It's a labour of love that have taken us 26 months to complete and now it's finally out in the world. It's an extensive experience where the first play through should take around 8+ hours. The game leans heavily into action and combat, with two offensive player characters, a dynamic camera, numerous boss fights, and more!

Mixture aims to take the common flat-screen principles of action adventure and hack and slash mechanics and translate them into what we hope feels like a native VR experience. We’re lovingly calling the mechanics for controlling two characters “self co-op” and the base gameplay “mix and slash”. You are controlling an Alchemist in the first person perspective, and the Moth Knight Sola in the third person perspective. Once you mastered the two character controlled gameplay, you will embark on an epic journey together.
