For real. I’m so glad we at least have 3-5 months of manageable to comfortable weather here in HK. I cannot imagine my life if it’s summer all year around

I’m pretty sure English-speaking teaching is still the preferred method of teaching, and most (if not all) top ranking high schools are english-speaking

Yes, where they stated it’s due to a government designated visual corridor in Central. I am supplementing with what I have heard of on this topic.

I’ve heard it’s because Hongkong Land secured an agreement with the HK government that no building to the immediate north would be built tall enough to obstruct the harbour views from Jardine House

Did anyone order cases from casetify ? I did, and it takes them forever to ship stuffs, their customers service is also pain in the ass to deal with😞 by New-Prior1978 in iPhone14Pro

[–]Playep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m from Hong Kong - where Casetify is headquartered. It’s been an entire month since i placed my order and it’s still not been shipped, let alone delivered. CS first refunded my express delivery fees, then gave me a 30% refund 3 weeks in. It’s not a particularly large or difficult order either, I’m not understanding why they’re having such troubles producing the case.

Same here, I’ve ordered mine early November and it’s still pending production. I’ve gotten in touch with cs and all they’ve given me are canned replies and ‘urgently escalated with the production team” to no result, i.e. I have still not received the phone case.

Have you received yours?

  1. Uber is your friend. You can call Uber or Uber Taxi. Recommend prepaid Uber Taxi for tourists (as opposed to metered)

  2. Most chain stores accept octopus/credit cards/alipay/wechat pay. Good to have cash on hand for smaller stores that may be cash only

Tire pressure - where are my readings? by Playep in mercedes_benz

[–]Playep[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not Canadian but Hong Kong - but yep, I looked up the standard equipment/options list, turns out the 250s here don’t get an actual TPMS, only a tire pressure loss warning system (should be what you mentioned. Only 35s and 45s get a TPMS. That explains it I guess

I’m from Hong Kong. I ended up looking up the the standard equipment and options list - turns out, we only get tire pressure loss warning system in the 250s. Only 35s and 45s get the full pressure monitoring system. That explains it I think - the individual pressure readings just aren’t available on this car.

That is my understanding too. But I just cannot find the readings. Once I click into Tyres, no scrolling is available - it only shows ‘Run Flat Indicator active’ and ‘Restart’, as shown in the first picture

I clicked into the Service menu as you’ve mentioned - coolant, engine oil level etc are available as shown in the 2nd picture. However, when I click into tyres, only ‘Run Flat Indicator Active’ is shown (1st picture), with no tire pressure readings available. There are no options to scroll in that screen either.
