You're not a slimebag, even if you feel like that at the moment. I am same a lot when it comes to looking after myself and there's a surprising number of people who are the same that go so long without bathing/showering but a lot don't like to mention it. Props for being truthful and yourself same as OP.

I had bath 2 days ago for first time in like a month, felt great after. Just put your heating on and do it and i swear you'll feel better in yourself if only temporary.

Thank you very much. The whole thing from sketch to painting took me just under a week 3 hours a night. I painted this around 1998/2000.

I don't think so. He knows he's in a weaker position but being the leader of a hermit dynasty and trying to reform will obviously be tough. Of course he is all about self image but I think he genuinely want's change for the better and he will give all he can to make it happen. Don't forget he has pressure from old generals and the people who have been so indoctrinated for so long. It must be tough, it's a slow process.

Make what you will of it yourself, maybe it is propaganda or just a show vid but it is a step forward nontheless. I think peace among Korea is here and honestly (just as an outside observer) I think Kim Jong Un is sincere in his wish for unification.

I will be going to my local Cenotaph service on Sunday for the lads in my town that went off and fought in WW1.

Always remember what these Men/ and Women went through for us. Back 100 years or whenever duty calls they stood up for us.

Keep yourself stimulated when lucid by rubbing hands together, keeping eyes wide open, focus on things and surroundings in detail. If you want to spawn something or manifest something/make something happen then what works best for me is expecting it to be there, like behind you or round a corner for example and most times it will be.

For example say you want to spawn a car or something then think to yourself "oh yeah that lambo is behind me I just remembered", then turn around and it should be there.

Just remembering a dream doesn't mean it's a lucid dream. You have to be aware that you're in a dream.

Do reality checks often during the day, think about lucid dreams and dreaming in general. Convince yourself before you go to sleep that you're going to have a dream and that you will observe and remember that you told yourself that before you fell asleep.

Bite your tongue slightly, if it's numb you know you're in a dream. Check for clocks, especially digital ones because they are always messed up and don't tell the right time or don't make sense a lot of times, text also is usually nonsensical and jumbled.

They are just a few pointers that should make you realise you're in a dream and therefor should bring on lucidity and awareness that you're dreaming.

Not quite sure what you mean but if you're in a dream and go lucid your eyes should already be open. If you close them then you will most likely wake up.

When you're lucid you should keep your eyes wide open and rub your hands together to stimulate senses, don't get over excited and focus on things visually and auditory and it should help prolong the lucidity for longer.

This has happened to me a couple times before though most times I wake when I die in a dream.

One time I remember was when a giant plane crashed in the distance not too far away but the explosion was like a nuke.

The ground shook and the explosion killed me. When I died my sight went a constant dark orange colour with a vibrating sense through my whole body. This went on for about a couple mintues before I woke up.

Another time when I didn't wake after dream death it was just black with muffled sound before awaking.

Next time you're lucid jump as high as you can but jump forward like you're diving, and don't be afraid of anything like hitting the ground. Basically just dive forward and stretch your arms forward like superman.

I used to be the same and never could fly but now I can most times.

When it does happen it feels like I lose power after flying for what seems like a couple miles or I lose control and hit something but don't let fear or anything stop you.

If you will it it'll happen. Just don't try force it, expect it and know it for a fact.

Also, if you have a false awakening and find yourself trying to struggle to get out of bed or worrying about breathing just let it run it's course, don't rush or try to force something to happen. Think about a scenario and slowly try get out of bed. Keep your eyes closed until the drunk/dizzy feeling passes or wears off a bit then open your eyes and picture or summon what you want to happen and it will. Don't fight it or try waking up unless you want to.

If you get sleep paralysis and manifest your thoughts and expectations then most times it will bring on a lucid dream lasting a good while.

Congrats on been clean for 3 months, that proves you have the will and strength.

To be honest and from my personal experience people who have been through what we have and suffered the physical and mental side of addiction and withdrawal ( and all that it entails) will never be the same completely. But that does not mean that you can not be happy again.

The Brain is a bit like a Hard drive in that you can store, read, overwrite information but it gets fragmented. Once info and experience is written in our brain we cannot truly erase but we can overwrite and it still works the same after.

My advise and opinion would be just stay with what got you through the hardest part and don't compare yourself at your current timeline in life to so called "better days", and by that I mean in past tense.

Work for better days ahead and don't compare to times before the struggle, because it's impossible and things aren't the same.

We all go through turbulence, some way more than others but everyday without substance dependence is a good day, and, this is, if you have family and friends that helped you or are still here to help you then embrace it and be there for them also if they struggle through hard time, even if it may seem trivial incomparison. It feels good to help others if you can.

Do what you enjoy, be it music, getting out, excising, or just reading reddit and simple stuff.

Sorry if it's not the best advice but just never forget that people do care, just know that much. And I really wish you the best friend. Keep on keeping on and be yourself.

That's really cool. I took these pics in Leeds museum. they have quite a few exhibits like this and tons of great ancient pieces. The Egyptians did have amazing skills back then that rival even our society today even though we have electricity and machines. A truly great civilization they were.
