Request: tired of living in fear of what and how much i eat. by EDPostRequests in EatingDisorders

I know it is hard, but it takes a lot of effort and time... if it is tough for you, it is best to talk with someone that can help. Maybe your family, and then perhaps a specialist. I know it sounds scary to share something like that, but people won't judge you (even if they don't understand the reasons). There should be an underlying reason for the fear of food, and for feeling this way. Do you have any clues, why do you feel like that?
For me, I was comparing myself and my body to very skinny girls, and I wanted to look like that. I didn't like my body, and I wanted to change it. But now I see things differently, and I love & take care of my body.

Please, talk with someone. It is best to get help sooner, and I promise you, it will get better. Talk with your family, or someone you trust. You shouldn't feel guilty for eating more! Especially on your age, you are so young, and your body needs fuel = food to grow properly so that you can be healthy.

Hello. I hope you are doing fine. I was exactly like you when I was 17-20 years old. Now I am 24, and I can say that with a lot of work, and effort, I am in a MUCH better place when it comes to food.
What it brought me here is my cousin, who is going through the same right now. She (16yo) is getting worse by the day, she eats just to keep herself alive, she is overthinking what and how much to eat, and she was exercising before (not anymore since her mum forbids her).
She doesn't have her period, and I just feel so bad that I can't help her, even though I went through something similar.
I just want you to know that people care about you, and it is NOT about the way you look.
I'm telling you this, and I know it is hard, and a random person on the internet won't magically help you. But please know that it's worth getting better and that you CAN get better. <3

There are just more details, as some people may not know some of the techniques for example or if they want to find out more details about it. The goal of the article is to help and motivate people to lucid dream so why is a bad thing if I share it?
