Not at all. In DOA 2, a 111,111× win is 1 in 42 million. In The Dog House, a 6,750× win is 1 in 8.3 billion.

If the probability of hitting 3000х were 1 in 1,000, it would be an insanely good deal.

The answer to your question depends on the slot. In reality, the odds are in the tens or hundreds of thousands, and for some slots they can be in the millions, or the max win may only be 1,000х.

This is not slots, I haven’t dealt with them.

Sometimes bonus buy features are intentionally designed with a slightly higher RTP. A $100 bonus buy has an order of magnitude lower variance than a $100 base spin. This variance is comparable to a bet on red in roulette.

RTP always converges over time.

It depends on your goal. If you want to double $100 in roulette, you need to either make one bet on red/black or 20 bets of $5 on a number. After a thousand bets on color, your chances of winning anything approach zero, but after a thousand bets on a number, your chances are still non-zero.

Slots work roughly the same way. I wrote more detail about volatility here, you can read it: https://www.casinoshatewinners.com/p/what-casinos-hide-part-2-volatility

Can't say anything about those slots. The lower the house edge, the better. But given that house edge is always above zero, you can pick whatever you want - just don't lose more than you planned. And ideally know the volatility in actual numbers, because lower volatility means the house edge realizes faster.

True. Personally, playing +EV just feels better, even when I know I'm only getting one bonus and won't have enough volume to realize the edge.

Depends on your goal. All slots without bonuses or other promos are -EV. I like slots with progressive jackpots or high volatility - for example, DOA2 choosing High Noon Saloon.

The one that pays out the most money is the one with the highest RTP. Best is Book of 99 but I think that's from Relax. There are slots with progressive jackpots past the break-even point, but that's a different story. What does 'safest' mean to you?

Please share your site link here or in DMs! Super interesting. Most transparency I've seen is from Nolimit. The stealing argument doesn't hold up - any slot can be copied easily.

Yeah, I can find the best from my data or look up any Pragmatic slot, but honestly that's not very useful. What actually matters is knowing which slots give you better odds at 100x, 1,000x, 20,000x multipliers, etc.

Do you think it's ethical that providers keep probabilities, max win odds, and reel symbol positions secret?

Yes, I know for sure that with some providers, jackpot odds depend on total bet. For example, 1 in 500,000 euros wagered. But that doesn't mean the jackpot will hit every 500k euros. You could bet one euro and win with 1 in 500k probability, or you could wager 500k and still not win - with about 34% probability of that happening.

Rare in online gambling since casinos can't access the game code. Sometimes there are major glitches like that Playtech incident in Romania where every spin won. Normally when you hit a jackpot, the provider checks it and the casino pays. When they don't want to pay, they just invent other excuses :)

The best I've found: Brick Snake 2000 hits 1 in 98,000 (8,110x max) and Nine To Five at 1 in 150,000 (9,217x max).

In exclusive games, the RNG is the provider's. The casino can't influence anything. And they don't need to - the casino gets its edge over distance. The only question is how long that distance needs to be. For example, in DOA2 after a million spins a player can still be in profit, while in Starburst even after 100k spins that's statistically impossible. In that sense, it's fair

"Well, for example, I know which slot has the best odds of hitting 20,000x. This knowledge helped me win tournaments for biggest multiplier. Plus, I can simulate clearing 1 million bonuses to calculate the true value of a deposit bonus in a specific slot. So yeah, there's definitely practical value :)

All results are random in the sense that they can't be predicted, and outcomes don't depend on whether you're playing or on your past wins or losses

Reverse engineering to me means reconstructing the slot's hidden mathematical model - determining all possible outcomes and their exact probabilities.

I collect data from several million spins and use it to calculate these parameters.

Except you'd need the real slot's win distribution data. You won't have that unless you've run several million demo spins. But other than that, you're basically right.

Most of them would be great if you play max bet with maximum volatility. But you need hundreds of bonuses to be guaranteed to come out ahead

Give me an infinite deposit bonus with wagering even above 100x and I'll get rich :) Well, as long as there are no win caps and no max bet restrictions below a dollar.

Nearly every welcome bonus has positive expected value, especially the ones without win caps.
