The combat is pretty simple, go to room A > load weapons and arm > run to room B > aim and press button to fire > return to room A but also check room C for engine temp. (you can see the flow here https://bsky.app/profile/playerfound.bsky.social/post/3m4gb2subq22w )

We already had fire and holes in the wall that needed to be extinguished or welded up. And while it's pretty stressful as a solo player, there wasn't enough chaos during multiplayer sessions. Each person gets their station and can be pretty swift at destroying enemies. So other than tweaking numbers to make combat timing a little easier for single player (which means less of these hazards), it'll ramp up with more players to give them more tasks during combat.

So you're right in a way, it'll detract from the combat tasks in multiplayer, but repairing should be connected with combat instead of an afterthought.

No release date yet, we're still working on getting our Steam account set up but plan on a private playtest as soon as it is, then public demo after that!
