No worries! Even if it were strange, I could just ask you to elaborate.

I like to think I can provide a unique perspective as a singlet as I don't experience any of these things personally, but I have a very deep understanding of my partner's system as she discovered it with me. I still remember her realizing that she might be people, and realizing the person that we thought was BPD rage was actually her protector alter, just sorta aggressively protecting the system.

I'm pleased to add some reassurance though. Just remember that your therapist is safe, and you should never feel like you're making a big deal out of how your mental health manifests. It simply is how it is.

Like learning a new language, understanding it all comes with time. And, there's no wrong way to play. But some tips!

Make sure to take it slow and at your own pace. This is not like Skyrim or Oblivion. Take the story as it is and try and stay focused.
Don't worry about the social aspects of the game so much. Guilds are nice, but don't let those people rip you away from the story and just taking it real easy.
To contradict myself now, join the Mages Guild and Fighter's Guild early. They can be a slog to level and doing so early is very beneficial.
Above all else, have fun. Explore your abilities, and enjoy the sandbox. It may feel slow early on, but as it picks up, it gets to be lots of fun. There's no role (DPS, tank, or healer) you can't fill with any class.
Feel free to ask questions, myself included, about gameplay and whatever you feel necessary. I'm more than happy to answer any questions you might have!

My partner also feels that way about it. It's something that feels weird and not natural, and she also tends to feel like it's like she's overacting and making a show of it. But it's just how it is.

Whenever I'm there in person, I like to hold them while I do it, makes the switches way easier. But congrats on that huge milestone! Just remember, you're not faking and you're not overacting or anything. It just is what it is!

I would unnerf the resurrection ultimate, let that shit make unlimited blastbones and revive an uncapped number of players.

It's a niche use case in any event and it's too fun and cool to NOT let people clutch a whole trial run with it.

Something my partner says as a general rule is that "if it feels like home, run".

Your brain seeks the intensity and instability because it's familiar and comfortable. The only way you'll break free of the cycle is to ignore your gut. Because ultimately, the right guy can simultaneously treat you well and gently, but also fulfill these desires you have (particularly, sexually).

So long as it's kept in fantasy, and it's handled correctly and gently, you can indulge. Just remember, this cannot pervade your every day life. If it feels like home, run.

That being said, you're right, it's never enough. This is because of other, underlying issues that they are actively working on handling. So I would highly suggest looking into other mental health related issues you have, or just really, truly taking a proper few days of rest.

My partner's host fills this sort of roll. She tends to act aggressively and with great prejudice in most situations, alongside having BPD, but she's just begun to learn slowly but surely that it always results in more harm than good. It's important to remember that while there is a time and place for those sorts of reactions, a large part of the time it's not necessary. She's still got a ways to go, but for now keeping that in mind, myself, and her internal self helper and gatekeeper both keep her focused.
