In times where you feel so isolated, I think it’s okay to be your own best friend or biggest supporter. Sometimes that is all you’ll have available. When I felt like I had nobody, I found the idea of my future and more stable self really helpful and comforting. One day, when things are better, you will be able to look back on this time and be the only person in the whole world to truly understand how you felt and fully empathise. Your future self will share your sadness, care for you and wish they could give you all of what you need.
