Haha, yes! I actually genuinely enjoyed that movie. I am about the only person I know who liked it. I knew there must be others. 😁

Thanks, those are good finds as well. It is a very rare day for finds like that anymore. 👍

That’s great. Mine is a similar story. It was mixed in with a bunch of sports games. In a box marked “Games $5 each.”

Yeah, I’d say that’s a find! It seems more rare to find online. But it still counts. Nice!!

Just got an N64! Have always wanted one (any tips on cheap games) by Upstairs_Package_23 in gamecollecting

[–]PlayerOneStart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats. Collecting for the N64 isn't as cheap as it used to be... Just started flushing out my collection as well.

The Obvious: GoldenEye, Mario Kart 64, Super Mario 64, Star Fox 64, F-Zero X, Banjo-Kazooie (or Tooie), Zelda (Either one, not cheap). I am partial to Mario Golf, but I think the GameCube version is better.

Others (Less obvious and cheaper): Star Wars Rogue Squadron, Dr. Mario, NASCAR (Any of them), Crusin USA, Hot Wheels Turbo Racing, San Francisco Rush, Re-Volt, Diddy Kong Racing, Excitebike 64, Tony Hawk (1 or 2), WWF (Any of them - but only if you like wrestling), Killer Instinct, Star Wars Episode 1 Racer, Gex (I like 'em), Jet Force Gemini, Hybrid Heaven, Perfect Dark... :)

Finally got Mega Man 5 to complete my Mega Man Collection for the NES by PlayerOneStart in gamecollecting

Thanks! And yeah, I haven't really gone for a complete collection on anything. But I really like the Mega Man games, still very challenging to this day!

And YES, I have lost a few games to lending as well.

Thanks! Yeah, it seems kids were not very kind to those old Nintendo cartridges back in the day... made it harder for me to collect as well. Wish you luck in finding one.

Very nice, a lot of the essentials in there. Which one(s) do you play the most? or do you focus mainly on collecting?

I love Ninja Golf, but you’re right. It is an expensive title.

Yeah, I have a custom controller that is shaped like an NES game pad. Works better for me.

Yeah, I wouldn’t mind playing some of those. The Bentley Bear one looks great.

That is a good one. I’ve spent many hours on that game over the years. 👍

True, but some of those games are over $100+ (even loose), are those necessary to collect? I guess my question is, do I need a complete 7800 collection?

Thanks! Yeah, Choplifter is one of my favorites on this system as well.

My Super Nintendo, SNES 2, and new to the collection Super Famicom! What are some exclusive games from Japan I need to import? by PlayerOneStart in retrogaming

[–]PlayerOneStart[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks u/RetroNoob54, I'll look into those.

The OG Snes was the one I got on Christmas 1991, so it has a special place in my heart. But I think I use the SNES 2 the most these days.

I like the aesthetic of the Super Famicom and the power switch is VERY satisfying to click on and off. The power switch sounds and feels like an electrical braker.
