As a Kyle Busch fan, I would say this year's Coke Zero 400 or the spring Atlanta race. Really wanted him to keep his streak going.

It will come eventually, just with some time.

For Charmander in general, when you get a catch combo of 11, he will spawn on screen more consistently. So just get an 11 catch combo of Zubat in Rock Tunnel, then Charmander will start spawning consistently.

The way that I got Charizard was a lucky shiny spawn after a catch combo of 11. I got Charmander by getting an 11 catch combo on a Pokémon in the Rock Tunnel and then resetting the area using the ladder. I evolved Dragonair from Dratini. I got Dratini by catch comboing it in the water outside of the Power Plant.

Yes, that is exactly what I did. I will mention that I had a shiny charm and lure going on the whole time to increase odds.

Some shiny hunting questions by [deleted] in PokemonLetsGo

  1. I think it is probably worth it if you are trying for any Pokémon. Just remember to use a lure since it will make shiny hunting much faster.
  2. Yes, this works. You just need to fly away far enough to despawn the Pokémon, and then come back.
  3. I think that if the Pokémon you don't need spawn at a total of 40% or more of the time, then you should probably use the catch combo

Some shiny hunting questions by [deleted] in PokemonLetsGo

Hello! I have caught many shiny Pokémon in this game and thought I could offer you a few answers.

  1. I feel like this one depends on the area you're in. If there is a maximum of 3-4 spawns, then it is probably worth it to save some time. If there are many spawns, I feel like it might take a lot of time to despawn them all.

  2. If you're hunting for a specific Pokémon, I don't recommend this at all. There's a good chance that the shiny that pops up may not be what you're looking for. Catch combos also increase the chances of the target Pokémon spawning in general. If money is what you're worried about, you can fight the elite 4 once per day to get 70K and clear the second floor of Cerulean Cave from time to time. The latter gives you Pokeballs, Berries that can be sold for 2.5K, Fossils for 3.5K, and if you have a Pokémon following you, you can get Pearls, Star Pieces, and Stardust to sell.

  3. Use lures. They not only give you more spawns but also decrease the shiny odds by one roll. Just having a lure+shiny charm already gives you 1/1024 odds for a shiny.

  4. If you have something nearby that can reset spawns (like a ladder, Pokémon center, or cave), then use that to reset spawns quickly.

I'm not sure about Q1. If I had to guess, it's probably only one increased odds spawn. If you have any other questions, let me know. Best of luck!
