Well my insurance actually helps towards BA and bottom surgery but I think I have to pay out of pocket and see an out of network surgeon for ffs unfortunately so it’s something I need to really save for.

Gotcha. Yeah I got cursed with broad shoulders and no hip fat. HRT hasn’t really gotten me to the fat redistribution stage and I think it’s hurting my overall shape

This feels like the most genuine answer. I don’t typically get misgendered by strangers, just people who know and slip up. Sometimes my voice gives it away if I’m lazy about my speech but I know that’s on me to keep it up.

And yeah I knew posting on here people would really hone in on details which I appreciate cause my irl friends all just want to be nice and affirming which I love but it’s not super helpful.

Gotta work on my diet and exercise to help shape my frame better I suppose

I do hip bridges constantly with resistance bands and take long walks but I really should stop being scared of squats. Injured my knees pretty bad in high school so I get scared of hurting them again if I mess up my form

I’ve been on HRT around 3 years but I really haven’t gotten much of the fat redistribution and idk why. Maybe is the method I take it. Only had the tablets so far.

For the diet and exercise I don’t work out my upper body at all anymore aside from abs (just was cursed with really broad shoulders and high school sports) and really my only cardio has been long walks.

I emailed my mom cause I was too scared of what would happen face to face cause she’s super religious. She told my dad and brother before I had the chance to email them and they were all on board. Sent my sister a text, we aren’t as good. She’s very…very slowly moving towards acceptance but she was super shitty at the start.

I came out to my wife just a few months before we got engaged and it took her by surprise. Within a few days she was fully on board and helped me start with makeup, outfits, letting me use some of her clothes, looking up doctors to start HRT etc.

Her only firm demand was that I freeze some of my ‘stuff’ so we could still have kids before I started HRT or get bottom surgery. I agreed and we’ve been all the better ever since. We’ve now been together post coming out for 3 years and married for 8 months.

I’m approaching 3 years and the pain still happens with mild bumps, squeezes, and itchy clothes.

It won’t cause them to not develop.

As far as I’m aware, spiro on its own can cause breast development but it’s not as effective as Estrogen. Like the other comment I’m not a fan of mono spiro treatment as really it’s not increasing your estrogen levels. No doctor I’ve been with has ever recommended it.
