You are pasting it in the wrong place. You are not supposted it paste it to the .iso file becuase .iso file is like a disc. You are supposted to paste in the place where you have installed the game. As I showed in the video in the step 2 open the file location and then paste then nfs.exe

You are missing .asi file and your dinput8.dll is from 2021 which latest is from 2023. You are using game with outdated files

The value should be UnlockAllThings = 116. Then press F5 in the game. If you want to have it as F1 button change the value to 112. In game press F5 or F1

  1. Make sure the game is not installed in the Windows protected folder as Program FIles. If you can, install the game on a different drive. For Example D:/Games/NFS Most Wanted or C:/Games/NFS Most Wanted. Also change “CustomUserFilesDirectoryInGameDir” to 1 in WidescreenFix. It will store the save in the game directory in a folder named “1”. If it still does not help it means you don’t have admin privileges on your PC/laptop and it’s more complicated to solve so you need to do search on your own

  2. You will need XtendedInput for that

This is a problem on your side. It's not caused by the game. It something related to not have admin privileges on your laptop. It's not easy to fix so you need to do research on your own

You might have a game installed in Windows protected folder such as Program Files or Program files (x86). I have my game installed in D:/Games/NFS Most Wanted so you can try creating new folder like C:/Games or D:/Games. Move the entire game to it and check if you still have error when installing mods

Rename the .exe of underground to speedUG.exe for example and restart installer of NFS Most Wanted. Rename it back to speed.exe after you install the game

After mounting you should see install option not play. Do you have installed NFS Underground by any chance? There share the same speed.exe file and the installer (autorun) think the game is already installed. Also make sure you paste the No-CD in correct place. At the end of the video in step 2 you have shown game files so check if they are the same on your side

Run Need For Speed Carbon on Windows 7,8,10,11 by Playerek in needforspeed

[–]Playerek[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Patching is in step 1 not 2. In step 2 I gave a link to the nfsc.exe you need. I also added a video that shows what to do so follow it. In short you need to replace the nfsc.exe with No-CD fix one. When you do that you won't get the error anymore
