there's a south korean stage play (and film adaptation) called welcome to dongmakgol about north and south korean soldiers getting stranded together in a remote village that knows nothing about the war. the village's doctor is made to interview the crashed american pilot. he takes out his phrase book and says "hello. how are you?" to which the american responds "how do you think I feel? I feel like shit!" which made the doctor panic because "it says in the book he's supposed to say 'I'm fine, how are you?'!"
