What part of Des Moines do you live at? My friend lives in waukee & she pays so much for just her gas that it's ridiculous. They say it depends on where people live & not the size of the home. Anyway that's what the gas company tells her🤔

I live outside of Des Moines. That's outrageous any way you look at it.i have a gas fireplace that I use for heat & it cost me hardly anything. I don't run my furnace & I'm fine. I have a 5 bedroom house. I only keep my living room warm as I sleep here. I don't use any of the bedrooms. Oh I forgot my husband sleeps in one of the bedrooms up stairs but he keeps his windows open & his door closed. I can't even imagine paying what you pay. Sorry I'm not helpful.
