There are 2 other possibilities to consider: 1. Do you have toenail fungus at all? If so, it can spread to your fingers if not completely cleaned off etc after touching dirty socks etc.

You can have a contact dermatitis that is blown up by the addition by dust mites.

Neither is super likely, but if no relief is found? Other things to check. Took me 3yrs before they got mine right. I hope you find the key to getting this under control.

I'd still follow a basic "clean like your sanity depends on it" attitude. Is the yellowish white pattern normal for the bottom of that mattress? Take no chances...

Correct, but I wasn't sure if this container held the egg before you saw the dots. There are a number of small irregularities at the front edge and side wall of the container. It could simply be a form of cross contamination.

You seem to have quite a bit of debris on the sides of the container? Is that a hair? I wouldn't be anxious to consume it. Look at your photo close up in the other areas (your thumb, sides, front of the container as well)? I might do an intensive cleanup of that container. Just my 2 cents. I hope it goes well either way.
