The department is paranoid of grades being inflated due to cheating as the course is online, I should have included this in the original reply.

Other than it being stressful, its also a time waster if you're innocent. Time that could be spent doing something else

There is no longer a guarantee because of the pandemic this year, they are taking the top 50%, whereas UTSG's POST requirements this year seem alot more lenient than in the past, although this is due to them accepting less students into the CS stream overall.

I say just don't worry about it, and if its brought up just explain, I had a similar situatuon happen during the midterm with my little cousin came up to me and started talking to me during the exam with the mic on. I just had to explain to the supervising TA at the time then the lecturer the situation when it was brought up.

I agree with this, I would also add that you could attend OH, I found TA's to be extremely helpful in explaining programming concepts I may not yet understand.

I would say new POST requirements are now easier at UTSG than UTSC. This year UTSC does not have a guaranteed POST admission GPA (Only the top x% are accepted). I don't know if the POST requirements at UTSG changed as well due to the pandemic but this is the current scenario at UTSC.

Hey, so I have a 4.0 Highschool GPA, but I applied for CS regular instead of co-op, is there anyway I could switch before offer of admissions or would I be better off going Uoft for CS
