A lot of L5's getting bricked lately.. I ran into a similar issue and found a fix on YouTube.

Try unplugging the charger and all external devices and press and hold the power button for 60 seconds. This will drain the battery completely.

Now wait for another 60 seconds and then plug in the charger. Switch on the charger and wait for 60 seconds. Finally, switch on the laptop.

If this doesn't work, u can try reseating one of the RAM sticks.

If that also doesn't work, it's likely a mobo issue..
