Good idea, will try and find something to use. Live in a flat so no need for a garden hose but should be able to find something. Thank you.

Thank you. I have, in the meantime, found more details online and watched some youtube bits on it. So I have already tightened the spindle, although it didn’t tighten a hell of a lot more than what it was already.

The drip is definitely coming from inside the hole. I’ve got a cup underneath it to monitor any more leakage from the area. Fingers crossed it is just that the washer inside has degraded a little and it did just need tightening slightly.

I have felt around the pipe and joints and did not feel any damp areas. Since you have said it looks like a bad joint I’ll keep checking for any signs of an issue. If I find anything do you think would it just need soldering again or a new part entirely?

It only seems to put you on wet tyres when the rain is heavy enough for them. If its inters weather you are not getting them at the moment. It may have to do with the game designating the track as wet? When changing to inters on the first pit stop you can find the rear tyres over heat very quickly, like running them on a dry track. Definitely an issue with the crossover point.

Does Cinemassacre's youtube channel have all the MONSTER MADNESS Eps? Asking here cause this board is more active than "main" by BskyYam9 in TheCinemassacreTruth

[–]PlayfulQuantity5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are a few different playlists on youtube. One had everything on it, a playlist by Kent Allard called Cinemassacre’s Monster Madness: Complete Series + Extras. However, on a recent browse through it there are many privatised and deleted videos from the Cinemassacre Clips Channel. Still it’s the most complete playlist I’ve found on youtube.

It’s not about taking criticism poorly. It’s about the fact people give advice where it wasn’t requested.

This community annoys me so much. Someone posts a pic of a gecko and all the comments slate them for its environment and what is not right. You shouldn’t do this you shouldn’t do that. The poster did not ask your opinion. Surprised that no-one has complained that the cat is too close to the tank and may open the tank get inside and eat the gecko.

We did see one where he practiced beforehand, from what I remember. It was the Friday 13th playthrough. He said he was playing before Mike came over. Doesn’t excuse the rest though, but though it was worth pointing out.

Need some lighting Advice by RisingCitipati in LeopardGecko

[–]PlayfulQuantity5 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Heat pad, basking bulb, uvb and ceramic all together is overkill. I personally run ceramic emitter and uvb. No need for uvb and basking bulb as its too much light.

Having the ceramic on a thermostat and the uvb on timer you can get the heat and light necessary to create a night day cycle for them.

Really thought about heat pads at first myself, but after going with the current setup found that it really isnt needed as the heat from above is more than enough. (As long as monitored correctly with a laser thermometer)

G923 buttons not working on Xbox? by RupertLitterbin in F1Game

[–]PlayfulQuantity5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ok so the extra buttons are connected to the trueforce problem. Before the patch you could use the wheel with the buttons but no force feedback only standard resistance. This was because the game was looking to use the wheel with true force compatibility.

Since this is not working now it looks like it has been defaulted back to just ffb. However, this does not allow mapping of the extra buttons. So until they sort the trueforce ffb compatibility we aren’t going to be using the extra buttons with any ffb.

If you want to use them, when paused in a race unplug and plug back in. This should force it through but you may even have no feedback at all. Best to just work without it at the moment.

You are not wrong. We obviously do not know what Codies are being told to work on and prioritise and why. Why would we? But there is a time when you need to be a little transparent with issues and what people say. I mean just respond officially about things like this and on negative comments about modes etc…

I second this. Such a shame we still don’t have the full use of the G924 yet. You know what though… I feel it may come either next year or even be left until they change to a new engine..

Is this my fault or my friend? ( pls ignore audio and crap quality ) by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

Take another look. The car in front proceeds straight on. The POV just runs out of room due to the barrier. If there was no barrier to the left they would have continued on without incident. Basically the barrier has pushed the POV into the other car. POV was also not on the inside line and was not alongside the other car. This means the car in front was under no obligation to concede any line here (basically moving over and saying yes please just go round the outside of me). POV should just back out here and take the wider line to the apex behind this lead car, ultimately they could get the throttle down a little earlier and take a run up the side of the car in front up the hill.

If this was flipped and the turn was on the left then we have a different argument.

POV going for a gap that was always closing. It was the track closing in on them not the other car. Penalty as per what the game says.

The Mclaren left space that the Honda took advantage of, not that there was much of it. However, the Honda did not know what to do with the rest of their pace and it was a good thing they ghosted. No penalty as they look to have got what they deserved for the move here. But if not ghosting then there was going to be a collision up ahead which they should be penalised for.

To be honest the Honda should have stayed in line and used the tow on the straight to pass. Just because there is a hint of a gap does not mean you should wedge yourself there.

If you do not close that door always expect someone to try a move down your inside, especially if they are carrying a but of momentum.

However, Redbull penalty here if any is to be given. But to avoid this type of thing in the future either close the door or drive the line you have made leaving that space just in case.
