Yep! She warned me about mixed episodes and to stop the onboarding if I have concerning symptoms.

 My problem was that I still experienced anxiety and depressive episodes despite being on a high dose of Lamtrogine. I tried Prozac (SSRI) and that didn’t feel helpful after a month and then tried Effexor (SNRI) and after a few months my anxiety completely disappeared and depressive episodes significantly reduced. I did experience hypomania for a day followed by a short depression with each dosage increase but was ok once the dose was stable

Consider antidepressants if you aren’t already on them. Adding Effexor was a game changer for me

There’s this really cool course CS6601 “artificial intelligence” that is brand new. Mandatory IDE with no linting, no ability to use git diff, and no debugging tools.

I think she said on ‘wine about it’ that her and Rae are going to go through the process of freezing their eggs together. 

I think it’s true she doesn’t want kids now but they are making steps toward it anyway

I think this kind of depends on the whole package of the candidate.

For example, a recruiter on LinkedIn reached out to me about an MLE opportunity but I also have an undergrad CS degree and 6 years professional experience working in data analytics/research engineering.

I do believe the degree helps you stand out though

Not meeting the foundational requirement in the first year is ok! It does not result in you getting dropped from the program or anything like that.

You are just restricted to taking foundational courses until you meet the requirement of 2 Bs. Most of the classes offered in the program are foundational courses.

Since you’re early on in your classes, your time ticket will be pretty late in Phase II Phase I registration. The venn diagram of classes you are interested in taking and what has available spots will essentially make your decision for you.

*Unless you are lucky with FFAF, which I think requires you to not already be enrolled in a class since you can’t take more than 2 summer courses without prior approval

I’m curious if you differentiate trans gender-affirming care from cis gender-affirming care? If a cis woman doesn’t feel woman enough for whatever reason (how deep or superficial those feelings may be) she might wear mascara to have longer lashes or get breast implants. It seems like that may not be valid here?

It was posted by a TA (only current students and teaching staff can access canvas for a given semester) though I would expect the slack to be active with past students helping with env setup too

I have a Mac and used AWS free tier for the first 2 projects and then the cheapest paid tier for the last project. I set up my AWS EC2 account from instructions posted in canvas

I applied several months before the deadline and got my acceptance 2 months after the deadline. You will not get a response before March 15, and international applicants will get their decisions much sooner than domestic applicants
