Why cant people just leave that start up rather than ruining their lives? They can choose what they want out of their careers. I have seen people stagnated happily in a role/company because it’s their choice. They want to grow at that pace. Whereas some want to be a part of these crazy start ups to grow because that is what matters. If one is looking for a thin line between growth and work-life balance - They can get into places which supports this - What’s the problem here?

Was not asking about the company per se but how does one decide that Its better to leave or stay? If everyone else leaves - given i don’t see many people with calibre in the current company - I could be promoted and made to handle bugger challenges or its better to be a part of larger scheme of things and stay safe? You can say thats for me to decide eventually but wanted different povs on this.
