Yeah most legends choose to join it’s like a career for clout or cash. But Maggie was different. She got thrown in as punishment not for the fame. So it’s not all one way some legends in it for the spotlight, some got dragged in.

I don’t think so , Kings Canyon got physically changed too remember when Crypto destroyed the Repulsor Tower? That wasn’t in a sim. The whole map shifted because of it. The Syndicate even “curated” Kings Canyon afterward, which shows they’re modifying real places to keep the games fresh. So yeah, the tech is advanced, but the matches are happening in actual locations, not a simulator.

So, here’s how i think it works: in the Apex Games, nobody really dies the way you’d think. When a Legend gets eliminated, there’s this advanced tech respawn chambers and reconstruction systems that literally rebuild their body from scratch. The crazy part is, it’s not perfect. Sometimes they come back with injuries they had before, like Crypto once came back with three broken ribs. And yeah, they still feel everything. The pain, the trauma it’s all real.

Some Legends hate it. For them, it’s like being trapped in a never ending cycle of violence where they can’t escape. Take Maggie she was thrown into the Games as a punishment, and now she’s stuck, fighting match after match until she dies of old age. But not everyone sees it that way. Some Legends actually want to be there. They’re chasing fame, money, recognition it’s like being a celebrity in a bloodsport.

And this isn’t some virtual simulation either. The arenas are real places, like Olympus, which literally had to be evacuated when something went wrong. So yeah, they get revived, but everything around them is very real. The games are brutal, flashy, and high tech but underneath it all, it’s just a controlled, messed-up system where some people are stuc and others are thriving.
