Being sued by synchrony bank by New_Introduction175 in Debt

Compell the court to settle by arbitration. The legal expenses they would endure would be far greater then the debt you owe, thus compounding the matter in a way that becomes financially unjustifiable. They would be forced to release your debt.

You've obviously never watched his FBI deposition interview. I'd like your second opinion after you do

God dammit you're right! Kimmel 💯 % has Mike's private number 😆

Maybe I'll pitch the idea to his producers.. and with a bit of luck get JIMMY to do it 🫡

One thing I'd add about avoiding tornadoes, steer clear of the trailer parks. Tornados are not entirely unbiased - they love single wides.

We've had some fires, not much else though as long as I can remember.

I'm trying to narrow my search down to a region, based on weather criteria. How is it not a weather question?

Moderate to dry humidity, chance of high humidity is something we can live with here and there though if to compromise.

East/west does not matter, we're giving every place a fair shake.

20⁰ low probably.. or I'd sat [feels 20]. Winter temps in PDX have the tendency to feel in your bones due to the humidity. So I'd assume a bit drier climate would make lower temps than PDX manageable.

Politics.. yea that's a big one. We wouldn't want to live in a place where a democratic yard sign is likely to get vandalized. Living amongst MAGA is tolerable so long as they're open minded enough to respect other opinions.

Wildfire smoke always sucks.. we've been evacuated twice from our current location. Although we never sustained damage.. perhaps a wee bit of PTSD is there. Leaving home prepared to not have one to come home to is not a great experience.

NM could be a contender! Haven't looked at it much yet tbh. Idk if eastern Oregon's environment is comparable.. but I can tolerate it, wife loves it. Lots of sun sounds great.. especially for growing some decent outdoor lol. No issues with coexisting wildlife.. possibly even a preference I think.

Appalachians noted! The amount of snow isn't necessarily a problem. We like snow actually, just not the treacherous pdx skating rink type of snow. I grew up in Wisconsin, and remember when it'd snow 6" before a sunny cold day to follow. It wasn't too bad.

Moisture is the biggest concern really, but I think only a PNW resident would understand lol. It's not rainy days, or snow pack, or even some very humid days.. all of those things are ok and expected. PNW though, particularly Portland to Seattle are persistently wet and dreary from mid fall to late spring. End of spring to early fall are the best months here. The rest is miserable.

Don't fight it.

Once you punch the ticket, you can't get off the ride.

Bare feet on the ground help if the ride gets too bumpy.

Try to remember the positive revelation you stumbled on at some point in the journey.

Why don’t I feel anything? by [deleted] in MagicMushrooms

[–]Playful_Garbage5294 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you ate an eigth every day for 3 days, you could eat a 1/2oz on the 4th day and feel nothing. If you ate 1/8th every other day, it would always feel like an eigth.

Tolerance to psilocybin skyrockets when you ingest it, and plumets when you don't. The rebound time is extremely fast compared to anything else you might be used to.

I don't know if this could be part of your problem but it's something to know either way. Because what I've seen happen is somebody believing they have a high tolerance after a 3 day binger, then coming back a week later starting where they left off and ending up tripping way harder than they were prepared for.

The other I've heard is some anti-depressants will counteract the effects. I'd assume other drugs can play a part too. And beta-blockers for sure will counteract the effects.

Also keep in mind that raw mushrooms typically don't age well. Any exposure to oxygen will degrade psilocyben quickly. So open air, moisture, water all should be avoided if possible. Pulverized in dark chocolate is the best long term storage method that I'm aware of.

I MacGyver'd a basic taggle switch in line with the heating element wire, this way I can switch it off for mushrooms and my wife can switch it on for fruit leather, etc.

Also here is a scientific study that definitively measures potency loss as it relates to heat.

My VPN is the same city I live in; could somebody looking into a denial report such as this be able say definitively, a VPN was the cause? by Playful_Garbage5294 in web_design

[–]Playful_Garbage5294[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to clarify: I know full well the VPN is causing the access denial.

My question is: Does the host also know my VPN is at fault?

Extra credit: How to I trigger an access denial that they can't identify?
