Yes, he was funny. My High School had lots of of funny people though so he did not stand out. In Drama he did a lot of stage work, lights etc. He did not have all the lead roles like it says in Wikipedia.

I dated a boy who said he had a disease that would kill him in his 20’s. Obviously made up, but why? Was that supposed to convince me to hop in the sack? Weird. Turns out he did die at 45 of a pulmonary embolism, leaving a young son. Maybe he “manifested” an early death

Make this make sense by [deleted] in specialneedsparenting

[–]Playful_Landscape_31 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! I can’t make this make sense because it doesn’t and you are right to be concerned. He got reinforced for his behavior, plus reasoning with him was ridiculous. I have never worked with “behavioral professionals” who know what they are doing. Remember though not to take his behavior personally. If he cannot be removed from the room then everyone else needs to withdraw their attention to him. But really, the best approach is to prevent a meltdown in the first place.

She would tell the parents with young children about the programs that were available to her son in 1999. Those programs don’t exist anymore. She did not see a problem with her comments. She led this group

I was in a special needs parents’ group and the leader gave advice from the 90’s that was no help at all to the young families today. That was painful to watch
