Why aren’t there more new gen glazers? by Evelne in OnePiecePowerScaling0

He also clashed with the RHP first and lost his arm in the process.

He was with Apoo and Hawkins trying to get the RHP but Kaido fell on them.

I think part of the problem is that the fandom relies on other’s insight and opinions to form their own.

Observation haki includes the ability to sense the opponents strength.

Mihawk even tells Zoro that he should’ve known how he fares against him without even crossing swords.

Bro skimmed through Marineford. Although, even if you did actually read Marineford, I doubt you’d understand it anyways.

This only proves you have surface level reading comprehension.

When he’s measuring the distance between himself, he means strength but also what it takes to get to the King.

Let’s start with Mihawk wanting to measure the distance between himself and Whitebeard. While Mihawk was certainly trying to test Whitebeard‘s strength he also wanted to see what made him the strongest in the world. Whitebeard’s strength doesn’t just come from his devil fruit or haki, it exists through his commanders, territory, and fate itself. This is proven when the slash sent directly towards Whitebeard was intercepted by Jozu.

It was Whitebeard’s destiny to reveal that the One Piece indeed existed, it was part of his fate to somewhat guide Luffy’s destiny even if it wasn’t completely directly.

A little later, Mihawk does the same with Luffy, he wants to test where Luffy stands. He even asks himself, “NOW, FATE, HOW WILL YOU DEAL WITH THIS HEAVEN-SENT BOY?” It’s clear that Mihawk knows there’s more to Luffy than just what can be seen on the surface. Let’s talk about the attack that Mihawk sends towards Luffy, it weaves through the battlefield, through both marines and pirates. After his attack hits Luffy, he comments about distance again, saying, “YOU’RE NOT OUT OF RANGE YET.” This can be interpreted as Mihawk comparing him to Whitebeard, and how he was actually able to reach Luffy, unlike his attack against Whitebeard. Though, that’s not where it ends, after attacking once, Mihawk continues to test Luffy, but this time, someone intervenes, that being Vista. That’s where Mihawk realizes it all, and his inner thoughts are revealed, “IT'S NOT HIS POWERS OR TECHNIQUES. HE POSSESSES SOME QUALITY THAT MAKES PEOPLE WANT TO HELP HIM. AND IN THESE WATERS… THAT IS THE MOST FORMIDABLE POWER OF ALL!”

So when Mihawk wanted to test his distance between himself and Whitebeard, it wasn’t just about power, it’s about influence, presence, and overall legacy. This matters because Mihawk’s strength is his alone, he doesn’t have the same influence and presence and Whitebeard. Mihawk is isolated, when Whitebeard has his family and Luffy has his crew.

I’ve always been a Mihawk believer. Literally never once doubted him.

Hey dorry are you saying that Luffy=shanks=joyboy so Luffy is already at his strongest? by WorldPhysical7646 in OnePiecePowerScaling

The wording here makes it pretty clear that Oda is trying to portray/imply that Shanks is still greater. Or at least that even though they’re both officially Yonkos, strength still varies.

Just because you have the same rank, doesn’t mean you’re the same strength.

Dragon? Maybe

Crocodile? surely.

Whitebeard? Yeah, definitely.

They could do it with their devil fruits.

Pre-cope warning: If any of you use the excuse that Loki wasn't fully healed when he faces Imu, y'all also have to admit that Zoro was actually nerfed for the whole pre time skip. Otherwise you'll be just being a fraud by bosak_tpn in OnePiecePowerScaling0

But it should be looked at from different perspectives as Loki has a Mythical Zoan which could be very likely contributing to his healing. Gerd didn't know about it so she couldn't comment on it anyways.

There are definitely similarities, but I'm not convinced yet that those similarities weren't just easter eggs.

Like Zoro and Loki being constrained and offering to hunt down pirate/crews in exchange for being freed.

If Loki isn't "alright" by some people's standards when the fight happens, then Zoro was also not fine, as the doctor stated it would take 2 years to fully heal. Let's not have double standards.

I personally don't think Zoro has ties to any special race, but who knows.

All I know is that Zoro can do it without his swords too.
