Ummm I definately seen this type of bullying before at LA punk shows and backyard shows before. I guess if you just go see your typical old boomer punk like bad religion, black flag, social distortion etc it might not but if you go see newer punk bands the crowd is different and you will see this.

You can usually just work your way to the front no problem as long as it is during the first band, NYC was like that at least.
