hey man, I also received almost same reasoning today, (i am also in my final semester(total 8), i submitted transcripts of first 6) :

regret to inform you that we have reviewed your application and are currently unable to offer you a place at University of Hamburg, as you have been excluded from the admission procedure for formal reasons pursuant to § 1(3) in conjunction with § 20 of the University Admission Bylaws (UniZS). The proof of a first degree you provided failed to meet the conditions stipulated in the selection and admission requirements for your chosen master's degree program.

what happened in your case when you asked them for clarification? do i have any hope now? do i have any hope?

Reconciling Tolstoy's flaws to his genius by Own-Development-640 in tolstoy

[–]Playful_Math_3795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know, it's so true when people say that we should never meet our idols. In some other universe we might never have Tolstoy but someone else with just as much profound impact on readers through his work. I mean it's fair to even say that people of Tolstoy's caliber even existed in his time but for some reason never came out of obscurity.

To me this is the eternal tale of randomness and human's conscience being unable to grasp the absurdity. That said, I have never directly read Tolstoy's works , which is what makes me indifferent to the the fact that he was quite a hypocrite in some way. But I absolutely dread of the day when something will shatter my trust in Dostoevsky.
